I have received my first pair of 34 x 34 basic ballroom jeans 2 days ago and I am ordering a few a few more now. Actually, I have worn them for two days and will reluctantly wash then tomorrow. My wife is laughing at my amazement of my ability to move about without...pain. Wearing these jeans are similar to wearing sweatpants in terms of agility and comfort, but the protection of jean material. I am sold and forever comfortable. I bought the Ballroom jeans because I was due for a new pair. I waited for the price to dip (I refuse to pay more than $30 for jeans).

They dipped in price, and I bought 'em. I'll be honest, I would've paid $40 for these. Very well built, and actually fit exactly like they should. Durable stitching... and the cut makes them easy to wear in any situation requiring a bit of flexibility - which at my age is pretty much all the time.

I found these were too tight through hips and thighs, so exchanged them for the lighter weight version, which fit really fine. I've been looking for a new source for jeans for months, and after several failed attempts, found that the 5 pocket ballroom in the light weight fabric are great for me. I wear them around the house, running errands, etc.

I bought these jeans on a whim, and I am not at all disappointed. These jeans are more comfortable than my other name-brand jeans I've bought from stores at the mall, and anytime I need a new pair of jeans I will look to this website before any other source. One upside is that they are a little thicker than most jeans and are great for cooler outdoor temperatures, but this thickness may be a little uncomfortable in warmer weather.

I didn't know what to expect,but I was tired of jeans that just went up to my hip. I was plesantly surprised by the crotch design and the sturdy and easy to use zipper. The jeans don't stretch out if you wear them 2 or 3 days in a row. I do know that Levi's and Old Navy can't compare to these jeans in sizing, quality and degree of comfort.

Given as a gift to my husband. I wish the world could have seen the look on his face when I told him they were "ballroom" jeans. After putting them on he grinned and moved around like me trying on a bikini. He is a suit wearer at work, except for casual fridays which now include his ballroom jeans. He says he doesn't feel the pinching, and chaffing ordinary jeans cause. He loves the durable material and construction. I am ordering more for him and for my son. I'm 5'8" and while I appreciate the increased waist sizes available, I have to have all my jeans altered for length to a 26" inseam. There are a lot of people well under six feet in height that are being ignored that would gravitate to a product if their needs were considered more, inseam length
in jeans as an example, what does it take? The jeans cuffs are hemed, shorter inseam availability would save on material costs somewhat, don't you think???

I finally ordered a pair of these jeans I had read so much about. I have to say, I was really surprised at the difference made by that crotch gusset. These are very comfortable jeans, and they seem very well made. Nice and loose fitting through the crotch, rear, and upper legs, where I usually have problems finding good fitting pants. But they are not too baggy, either. The only "negative" thing I can say is that the "Denim" color is a lot darker than it appears on the website. This isn't a washed denim -- this is dark, bold blue. I'll keep them, but the next pair I get will be the "Light Denim".

As expected, these jeans fit properly, were excellent quality and because of the firehose reinforcements, should last a long time. However, the most important thing to me was the inclusion of a 28 inch inseam. Being short, I always had to either shorten the pants or roll up the bottoms. I am happy to note that the 28 inch inseam is perfect and the jeans look great!

Great fit, and very comfortable. Very well made, and I like the extra 'room' provided, especially when squatting or driving. One nice thing is that they come in all sizes...I take a size 35 waist, but I normally have to buy either a size 34 or 36 waist. It's nice to be able to buy a pair of jeans that finally fit.

Got these for my husband since he is always blowing out the crotch of his work jeans. Was concerned about the fit since he prefers relaxed fit and these don't specify. Glad to say, they fit great like a relaxed fit and he is happy with them. Only had them a few weeks so can't attest to durabiliity yet. Also like the option of the odd sizes vs all even. I had to convince my husband to try these jeans. He wanted to stay with the standard "L" brand of jeans and I thought he would like these, but he was resistant. I bought these to use as everyday work jeans. I like the firehose lining at the waist and cuffs. I do wish this was offered in more tapered leg cut. Deep pockets are nice and know I won't wear through them like my off the shelf Jeans (pockets are always the first to go for me). My only complaint is that there are only 5 belt loops. I pretty much always have at least 2 tools on my belt and the lack of additional loops lets stuff slide around too much. My knife ends up behind my back when I sit down instead of comfortably at my side. It also means that when the belt is undone, my tools tend to pull my belt through the loops and fall off.

These pants are close but not quite. They fit well through the hip/pelvis area if a bit snug. The legs are roomy and easy to move in, aided by the crotch gusset. The down sides are the lack of beltloops on the back side of the waistband, one at center just is not enough. The leg length seems overly generous, I bought 34'' inseam as there is no 33'' and I thought 32 would be too short.
All things considered I probably will NOT buy these pants again.

I bought these based on the description with fire hose cuffs and color (dark denim). I wanted jeans that will hold up and look good for a while. I tend to get wear on the cuffs from my boots, especially when riding the Harley. These are built tough and the color is very dark blue. Not much time to test on the bike yet, but the length (36") is sometimes difficult to find elsewhere. A great product for a fair price.

These jeans stack up very well against the name brand jeans. The gusset isn't noticeable and makes for great comfort and fit. These jeans will go all day...no problem.

I bought these to wear when riding a motorcycle. I wanted something that would give me more room in the crouch while sitting on the saddle. These really fit the bill. It makes for a more comfortable ride with out the shifting and adjusting that is required with normal jeans.
I'm also impressed with the quality of the product. The little things like the additional lining around the waist and cuff should make this a long lasting pair of pants.

I wear these everyday to work and they ride high enough on my hips that I don't have to tug on them to keep them up. The rugged stitching is unmatched by anything I have seen on the market. I suggest ordering a slightly shorter inseam than usual since they seem to run a bit on the long side.

So far, they jeans are quite comfortable. They do have a bit more room where it is important. This is especially important for me as I sit a lot during the day (home desk job -- clean jeans mean I'm dressing for an important call) and some jeans are just a bit too snug in that important spot!!! I have never really been happy with any pair of jeans until the day that I received the "ballroom" jeans. They were a dark blue and soft right out of the bag. I noticed all of the little details; the extra stitching, the linings and deep pockets. I was impressed and then I put them on. Wow. I have never been so comfortable in a pair of jeans. After three weeks, I am still impressed. In time, I will replace all of my jeans with these.

I wear the jeans to work around my horses: muck stables, pitch hay, groom horses, and ride. I appreciate that the cuffs are wide enough to go over my boot tops. I also like the heavy duty material and quality of construction. I would order another pair if they came in kahki or tan.

I use this jeans as my weekend work panta and as casusal dress at work. I was riding my bike home one day and had a spill. The end result four stiches in the chin and a scratche dup left knee. The funning thing, I was expecting a hole in my left knee but there was none. The jeans help limited the scratches on my left knee. I needed some jeans because I've lost some weight and my current jeans were getting a bit thin. I decided to pay a bit more for these as an insentive to keep the weight off. I'm VERY happy with them. I use them as work pants and they are tuff enough to handle all types of environments. The added crotch room makes stooping and sitting a breeze.
The black jeans have a strong chemical odor that I think could be the dye; the blue jeans didn't have any odor. These are the best quality jeans that I've ever purchased. I usually wear Levi jeans but these are more durable and better crafted at competitive prices.

I am a lifelong Levi's 501 or 505 devotee, until now. These jeans are so well made of the good, heavy denim I like that I have now switched, forever. If you are the type of guy who hangs on to a good pair of jeans until they are shredded and falling apart, buy these. I expect I won't have to replace these for at least 5 years!

These are my current favorite pair of jeans. The sole reason for the purchase was "ballroom", I assumed all else would be high quality since they were made by Duluth. I was not disappointed. I recommend that Duluth improve them even more by adding another inch of ballroom. When you take a load of jeans out of the dryer to fold, the Duluth material is unwrinkled as compared to the older many times washed Lee jeans. Mine have only been washed twice & this "wrinkle free" may disappear after many washes but for now it a significant improvement & helps me justify the additional cost for the Duluth jeans. I highly reccommend these jeans.

I work in IT, most of the time behind a desk. Sometimes I find myself pulling cable, or fishing wire under a desk, or hauling computers and monitors. From the moment I pulled these jeans on I knew they were a winner. Whether sitting at a keyboard or crawling around pulling cables I find these are roomy and don't bind, and are very comfortable. I pull cable. You workmen know what that means. Whether I'm stretching it out on a scissor lift or crawling on all fours, you can't beat these jeans. I've been wearing my first pair for almost 4 months now. I also wear these in the garage and yard, very tough. On the flip side, they are SOOOOO comfortable. They're not the most stylish jeans I own, but I'm not afraid to wear them out around town. I wear alot of weight in my toolbelt and this waistband stays soft and comfortable. The extra "ballroom" space is amazing when moving around, up and down. There is a plethera of belt loops which distribute the weight of my tool pouches evenly, which equals my belt not digging in. Buy these!!

I wear these jeans daily, and love the way they fit, except for the length. I've had to cut two inches off the bottom of my 38-30 jeans to get a true 29" length to keep from dragging on the floor. I love the deep canvas pockets, but the canvas waist is a little slippery after washing, and my shirts keep riding up. Other than that, these are my favorite jeans, and I want more of them.
