So far, they jeans are quite comfortable. They do have a bit more room where it is important. This is especially important for me as I sit a lot during the day (home desk job -- clean jeans mean I'm dressing for an important call) and some jeans are just a bit too snug in that important spot!!! I have never really been happy with any pair of jeans until the day that I received the "ballroom" jeans. They were a dark blue and soft right out of the bag. I noticed all of the little details; the extra stitching, the linings and deep pockets. I was impressed and then I put them on. Wow. I have never been so comfortable in a pair of jeans. After three weeks, I am still impressed. In time, I will replace all of my jeans with these.

I use this jeans as my weekend work panta and as casusal dress at work. I was riding my bike home one day and had a spill. The end result four stiches in the chin and a scratche dup left knee. The funning thing, I was expecting a hole in my left knee but there was none. The jeans help limited the scratches on my left knee. I use them as work pants and they are tuff enough to handle all types of environments. The added crotch room makes stooping and sitting a breeze.
The black jeans have a strong chemical odor that I think could be the dye; the blue jeans didn't have any odor. These are the best quality jeans that I've ever purchased. I usually wear Levi jeans but these are more durable and better crafted at competitive prices.

I am a lifelong Levi's 501 or 505 devotee, until now. These jeans are so well made of the good, heavy denim I like that I have now switched, forever. These are my current favorite pair of jeans. The sole reason for the purchase was "ballroom", I assumed all else would be high quality since they were made by Duluth. I was not disappointed. I recommend that Duluth improve them even more by adding another inch of ballroom. When you take a load of jeans out of the dryer to fold, the Duluth material is unwrinkled as compared to the older many times washed Lee jeans. Mine have only been washed twice & this "wrinkle free" may disappear after many washes but for now it a significant improvement & helps me justify the additional cost for the Duluth jeans. I highly reccommend these jeans.

I work in IT, most of the time behind a desk. Sometimes I find myself pulling cable, or fishing wire under a desk, or hauling computers and monitors. From the moment I pulled these jeans on I knew they were a winner. Whether sitting at a keyboard or crawling around pulling cables I find these are roomy and don't bind, and are very comfortable. I've been wearing my first pair for almost 4 months now. I also wear these in the garage and yard, very tough. On the flip side, they are SOOOOO comfortable. They're not the most stylish jeans I own, but I'm not afraid to wear them out around town. I wear alot of weight in my toolbelt and this waistband stays soft and comfortable. First off, Duluth jeans are by far the best jeans out there. Quality construction (triple stitiched seams)superior material(will not fade or shrink and withstands an enormous amount of washings.) I haven't even mentioned the gusset crotch which makes movement in them a whole lot more comfortable than regular jeans. The inner binding on the waist and the leg bottoms is a real nice touch too, keeps the waist from stretching out and you don't get the freying on the pantleg bottoms. Did I mention the material colorfastness? Well, my work requires black jeans, and after 10 or 12 washings regular black jeans are no longer black but rather a dull grey, Duluth 5-pocket jeans however remain as black as when I first bought them. I'm totally sold on your product. Keep up the good work

Having worn many brand name jeans for decades, I have been amazed at how comfortable and well-thought-out these jeans are. From the oversized zipper pull to the extra reinforcement with the fire hose material to the beefy stitching, these pants have it all! Normally my jeans start to show signs of wear and tear (fraying, thinning of the denim) after about a year of heavy use. These jeans are twice that age and have yet to show any sign of their age. Love everything about these pants EXCEPT the seam runnng down the outside of the legs. IMHO it is sewn backwards. It should overlap from front to back, not back to front as on these pants. WHY something as simple as a sewn seam? Because I have had it snag on something everytime I wear them. Waiting for the time they rip. I would recommend these if seam gets fixed. My buddy has a pair otf the work jeans and the seam is sewn the right way.

The thing that puts DTC's 5-pocket "ballroom" jeans above other jeans I've owned is the crotch. Yes, the crotch--which has been, in my experience, the consistent point of failure in all jeans I've owned--until now! There's no sound more annoying (and embarrassing) than the sound of the tearing crotch--and usually in the most public of places--like when you bend down to tie your shoe at the Bowling Alley! (rrriipp!) I'm on my second pair and the crotch on my first pair (see attached photos) still hasn't "let me down." Definitely a 5-star product!

I was hesitant to buy jeans that I knew little about (but I took the chance on these because everything I have purchased from Duluth has turned out to be great) and am very pleased with them. A couple of things impress me about them. First, the fit is good. Size seems to vary a lot depending on the manufacturer but these have a good normal fit. The other things that I like are the re-inforcements made with the fire hose material. It really provides extra strength to places that normally wear easily. Also, the pockets are deep which allows you to carry things easily. Also, duluth advertised these jeans to be more comfortable because of the extra gusset giving more room in an area that any guy would appreciate. I thought it was a gimmick but after wearing them I have found out that it does give a much more comfortable fit for guys in "important areas" than the regular jeans you buy in a store. They are sewn well and well constructed and I am very pleased with them. I highly recommend them.

While these won't stop bullets, the sturdy pockets should hold up well with nails screws, small sharp parts, screwdrivers. Get the idea? These jeans are built tough and wear well. I'm tired of those other brands with their pockets tearing out and cuffs fraying in a week or two. When you pull these on, they feel tough and solid. That's more than I can say for myself.

Love the way these fit. Nicely fitting for bigger guys like me. I like the reinforced waistband and pantleg hems as they are lined with firehose material. This should add longevity to their wear. These jeans are a medium weight, but breathe well in warmer weather. Pockets are of heavy construction, so you don't have to worry about them giving out. Highly recommend to those who need a good, medium weight work jean or jean to hike/travel in. Look good in dark indigo as well!!

I'm writing this for my husband. He loves these pants and I do too! Why? Because he has Stopped Complaining!! All I ever heard was about how his jeans were binding on him, How uncomfortable they were, they never stay up," every time I bend over I have to pull them up". What a relief. The "ballroom" gives me the comfort I was looking for while sitting in the saddle of my bike (motorcycle) mile after mile. The extra deep "fire hose" pockets keeps my stuff from falling out and wearing through to my leg. And the extra length on the zipper pull makes life easier for a guy with fat fingers. The overall fit and feel of these jeans is perfect and the construction is second to none.

Good quality blue jeans. They fit better than the average store pair; it's equivalent to a relaxed fit: roomy but not baggy. I really like the canvas pockets and reinforcements. My last jeans (another brand) I had to ditch because the pockets were NOT denim and didn't last. I can already tell that won't be a problem with these. :)

These jeans are quite simply the best I've owned. The crotch area is the spot that I would always wear out first in normal jeans. These take a solid 2 years or more before I would run into wear issues. Every pair of jeans I have are these and as a retail manager they get worn 45-50 hrs. a week walking 3-5 miles a day. I've worn Levis 501 shrink to fit for almost 40 years until I found these jeans.
In these times when most manufacturers skimp to save by using cheaper materials, I was pleased to discover what quality is all about in the 21st century. No surprise because Duluth is all about being a cut above the rest. These jeans are very comfortable, strong, and true to size. The material is thicker than the competition's, yet they require no breaking in. The reinforced seams are indications these jeans are going to survive the wears and tears of repeated washings and wearings unlike my former favorites that fray at the cuffs. pockets, and crotch in less time that I would like.
In short, these jeans are an excellent value in every way. They really feel good to wear. Thanks Duluth! I love your stuff.

I always thought I had normal legs but I have found it dificult to find a 34x32 that fit my legs and butt. I usually move up to a 36x32 and crank down on the belt. These provide.

These jeans are the best looking, most comfortable pants I own! My only regret is that I waited so long to buy a pair. Their sturdy material will last me so much longer than other jeans. These are some great jeans! The firehose pocket lining is a GREAT idea...I tend to carry too much stuff in my pockets, but it's not a problem with these jeans.
My only issue with these (and all of Duluths jeans) is that I had to have them shortened about 1/2" to keep them from dragging. This is something that I don't have to do with other jeans of the same size.
Still, it won't stop me from buying more!

These are very durable, well-built pants. They are quite substantial and should take quite a beating. The firehose lining in the pockets, waistband and hems add considerably to the durability. True to size, they fit me perfectly (34x32).
