I buy an extra size too big and use them as a sleep shirt. Arrived nice and soft almost like a well washed favorite. My old ones are finally wearing out and to prevent the wife from nagging I replaced them. Into the rag bag they go to be reused.

these days most shirts have to be an XL and sometimes a 2XL to fit. these shirts in a large have fit the same for 10 years, old and washed or new before washing. hard to remember that when ordering because they last so long it takes a while to replace them. every other aspect of the shirt makes it worth getting one out of the drawer to check the size before ordering.

I'm kind of cheap when it comes to buying clothes. But I primarily wear T-Shirts both at home and at work so I don't think I have to buy the cheapest ones possible if they're a good fit. These are great. I dropped a chunk of weight recently and have been wearing progressively smaller clothes. I was wearing a XXL tall from another company and paying more. I'm now down to a large. Duluth's are by far and away the best price for the fit that I've found so far. I bought there Long Tail Large and it fits me very comfortably length wise- I'm 6'2"; around the middle- I now weigh 225- without looking like a tent or binding me there; and around the neck - I find a lot of crew neck T- shirts are too tight there - this one is just right. And I have very broad shoulders and these fit great there as well. I'll be buying more of these in the near future.

Long tail tee's are for girls too!

Bought this shirt for my very tall and broad son. It was way too big for him when it got here (3X) which was disappointing because I was hoping for a shirt that would finally fit him--no other shirts do because they are always too short. Anyway, thought a run through the wash on warm then a hot run in the dryer might help. It did. I know it's not really supposed to shrink, but it did just the right amount to fit my son just right. Now he loves it. Going to order more!

I am a home builder, remodeler. The Longtail T is the best T I have ever had for work. Its very durable and comfortable. I have one T that got more that 20 small burns holes from flying sparks. This T has been washed multiple times and used again for work and the material dose not run. Great product.

These are great tee shirts, made of nice and thick feeling cotton. The sizes do seem to run about a half size large. When I first received my order, and tried them on, they were huge. I washed and dried (hot temps) one shirt, and it did shrink enough to be just about right, so I did the rest of the order. They still feel just a little large now, but I do really like them. My advice would be: If you like them tighter fitting, order the next size down; if you like them a little loose, order your regular size per the sizing chart.

These are great T-Shirts, but I do have one problem. The shirt is so long that it covers my entire backside. When I sit, the shirt starts choking me. A larger neck would help as the crew neck is kind of small as it is.

I wear the longtail t's everyday whether it is under my uniform, with shorts or those favorite wore out jeans. The good Lord did'nt build me like a Greek God so I need the extra length in the tails. They hold up wash after wash. I have at least one in every color and maybe two or even three. Thanks for selling a great product. P.S. Maybe you can add white to the color list.

The Men's short-sleeved longtail T is a great product. The material is very soft and comfortable and cut very nicely. Of course the long tail is a big plus for this product, but I also like the no-scatch, tagless tag. My only complaint in longtail T's past is that when worn and washed a few times, the collar would stretch out and sag a little making the T look shabby. I've bought a couple of new ones recently and so far haven't had that problem. It looks like you guys have fixed my shabby collar problem. I love your Ts:)

I think most of us now know how good these Longtail T's are. I have purchased a few of Duluth's T's and they are the best that I have had and when I wear another kind of tee-shirt it just doesn't feel right. They are all too short for me being 6'4" tall. And the others don't cover the plumber-butt syndrome like Duluth's does. How could anyone not like these?

bought four black tees since my new wife hates all my ratty old tees, and these shirts are the bomb. can get multiple wearings without washing in a pinch hides sweat well. the only drawback is that they are so comfortable our extremely furry cat insists on sleeping on them.

Amazing shirts. Comfort is obviously very important to this company. No thick seams, or tags. I have dark ones for work, and light ones for casual wear. Yes, I wear these shirts all day, every day.
Wish they still called them Tom's T's, since they were previously made, after my suggestion for a pocket free version of their current shirt, but that's OK. As long as I can still buy them...I'm happy.

We use this shirt as company required dress code on construction sites. The shirt lasts through the sweat, dirt, and tough condtions required on our job sites. Even though the shirts are washed repeatedly, they do not shrink and hold a professional appearance. The durability minimizes required replacement, making the shirt a good value. The long tail helps keep the shirt in place - much appreciated by others on the worksite! The cut is oversized so checking the size chart is recommended. This shirt has become our standard for our installation personnel.

This shirt is great on the job site; I would not wear it anywhere else though. It got dirty quick and stays looking dirty. It does not hold the odor thank goodness but they sure do look grungy. For work they are great especially since I hate the felling that my crack is showing.

As a tall, lean fella, I figured the long tail T's were just my thing. Normally I wear a medium & it fits just right, except for at the pant line where my other t-shirts either don't tuck or don't stay tucked. I got some mediums of the no pocket long tails (I don't like pockets in my T's) & they were ENORMOUS! I can understand a little 'upsizing' for us working folk, but jeez! As big or bigger than most XL's I've worn.
Anyway, comfy shirts. Good quality fabric. Probly last me forever. Good for lounging about the house. I wear em to bed with my PJ's.
Too bad there aren't any smalls.
