Just insert your finger in its beak, pull back on the rope, and let go. The Flying Duck can launch up to 100 feet - perfect for keeping your fetch-happy pal entertained without wearing out your pitching arm. A built-in squeaker keeps your dog's jaws exercised, too. Tough polyester fabric resists rips and tears. Woof!

Comments about Flying Duck:

Violet, our four year old Black Lab really loves retrieving the Duck. I was impressed that the elastic cord that propels it , is very sturdy thick rubber. With some practice you can put a "spin" on the Duck for more mid air dog excitement. Good price, great dog toy!

Comments about Flying Duck:

My two golden retrieivers loved the flying duck so much that they tore it apart before I ever got a chance to see if it really could fly. I should have waited before letting them play with it until I took them outside. It should have been more durable, but my dogs are rough on all their toys.

The product was definitely fun for my dog, but it only lasted about two days before she had it destroyed. The product does not stand up to a "chewer"!

Comments about Flying Duck:

My german shepherd loved playing with toy but it soon lost a wing on the first day. A quick patch job on the second day and the other wing came off. The stuffing started coming out to a point I had to take it away from the dog because I didn't want him choking on the stuffing. I pulled all the stuffing out and the dog still carries it around. I have a feeling Scout will be discount ing this toy pretty soon. Save your money and wait.

Duluth Trading Company Response: Thank you for your comments. We checked our latest shipment and did indeed find these unacceptable quality issues. We went back to the drawing board with our manufacturer and are now double stitching the wings to the body of the duck. Please contact customer service for a free replacement. We apologize for the inconvenience and the disappointment.

Comments about Flying Duck:

The first time I picked up the toy, my Lab grabed for it and left with a wing in his mouth. The wing came off with very little pressure. It needs to be mended before I can try using it again.
