Nothing kills a nice evening outside faster than pesky, buzzing insects. More than just annoying, pests can be dangerous when carrying Lyme disease, West Nile virus, or Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Don�t go canceling that reserved camping space up north � just spend a few bucks on Sawyer�s clothing repellent and rest easy (unless you�re staying in bear country � then you�re on your own). The formula, which is specially formulated to bond with clothing, contains Permethrin, an ingredient proven effective at repelling and killing ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers, mites and other biting insects. Odorless, non-staining Permethrin provides �spatial repellency,� meaning insects may swarm around the sprayed area, but will not land on it � kind of like a little halo to keep you safe. Can be sprayed on tents, backpacks, and plastics, too. Repellents that contain DEET are recommended for skin. One application lasts through 6 washes. 12 oz. I used the spray on my clothing this spring and went hiking in the mountains of Vermont. I saw no bugs coming near me. The May flies are always terrible but not with this repellant. I will continue to use it and see if the rest of the season it works as well.

If you dread stepping into the woods and coming out covered in ticks, you can stop that right now. This Clothing Insect Repellent is the only way I've found that works absolutely. Once I had treated my clothing - and I do everything from boots to hat - I have not found a tick on my anywhere. Now, if they could just invent something as effective for my dog!
