Functional safety sunglasses are now fashionable and comfortable with a sleek wraparound design. Not only do they look cool (less laughs from fellow co-workers or the kids at home), the wrap-around design completely covers the eyes for greater protection. Lower lens provides magnification for those of us with well-used eyes (available in four diopters - the higher the number, the greater the magnification). Distortion-free, polycarbonate lenses are hard-coated to protect against scratches. Tinted gray, these safety glasses sunglasses block 99.9% of UVA rays and 82% of UVB rays. Transparent gray frame is made of durable polycarbonate. Soft polymer nosepiece keeps glasses in place.

I love these Cheaters. They look good and the lenses are remarkably durable. I'm now buying my third pair. The frame above the lens on my two previous pairs both broke in the same place. I got a couple of years out of each pair, but this seems to be a design flaw. No matter, two years of rugged daily use is worth[$] to me, so I'm buying another pair.

Bought a set of these because I often need cheaters while working outdoors. They are very comfortable, fit well and have been very durable.

They've outlasted other plastic-lens glasses I have used in the past. Two years of daily wear and only a few scratches to show for it. Bought a second pair just in case, but have not had to break them out yet.

My only complaint is the cheater is too far down, requiring you to tilt your head way up or move the glasses up to use them.

These are the only bifocal sunglasses my husband will wear. The placement of the reading lenses is perfect,allowing for maximum flexibility without hampering (which is often the case with bi-focals) normal vision. Recently had cataract surgery and do not need corrective lenses anymore, but do need correction for reading. Wrap around feature cuts out side glare. Will use clear ones in my shop and shaded ones while driving and hunting. Definitely sturdier, safer and cooler than drug store glasses. A great idea.

I use these glasses for all outdoor activities. If I don't wear them around my neck with keepers they just disappear. My fifth pair just disappeared along with the jacket they were in. I have tried all the local hardware stores, HD and Lowes included, nobody carries a similar product? I take care of baseball fields and a few lawns. I maintain 3,500 ft of fence line with a weed whacker every week. From a pure safety standpoint, these specs have saved my baby blues a thousand times over.

On a personal note, these babies have changed my life!!! Before I found the Cheaters, when my cell phone rang or a text message came in, I'd have to stop what I was doing, fumble for my reading glasses which were usually hanging from my shirt collar and covered in grime and sweat just to look at my phone to see if I could let the call go til later. THAT was becoming a monumental pain in the plumbers crack. These glasses changed all that for me. I LOVE them for that.

Took these sunglasses to the Boundary Waters on a camping and fishing trip. They fit snuggly and never felt like I was wearing glasses that might slip or fall off. These are the greatest idea! They are useful with any type of outdoor power tool, from lawnmower to snowblower and they provide protection, sun shade and reading ability. I got these to read outside, so I wouldn't have to wear sunglasses over readers. They work well for that, although I have to tip them up a little so the reader part is where I want it. I also recently took them sailing. They are great when you're in the cockpit needing to read a chart. But be careful moving around on deck as the readers can distort your depth perception. Overall, I love 'em.

I needed eye protection from the sun as well from dust and dirt coupled with the need to have reading glasses while engaged in my hobbies, home projects and volunteer work as a shooting range official at Camp Perry. These glasses met all expectations and needs and were quite comfortable to wear all day long. Never a problem and they are quite sturdy.

Overall, I like them. Good safety glass, but the way the cheater lens fits on the eyeglass lens could be improved. Make the cheater lens more narrow so it doesn't go so high on the eye glass lens and make it longer so it goes farther across the bottom of the eyeglass lens.

MY 1st PAIR LASTED WELL OVER A YEAR, and I use them every time I'm outside in daylight. VERY COMFORTABLE. These are just a little too bulky for my pocket when folded, so I usually wear them on top of my head when I don't need them. The 1.5 cheater is just right to read the instruments while driving.
