Comments about Hinja Folding Shovel:
My son lives outside Washington,DC. So when the first big snow hit there this winter, he had a little fold up shovel we gave him some time ago. While it wasn't great, he was one of the few people who had any shovel at all to dig out. He did complain the upper handle had broken.
So as a surprise gift I sent him the Ninja Shovel based solely on the Duluth Trading Co. description and my experience with many other DTC quality products.
He (and I) were pleased as it was infinitely better when the second big storm hit. Bigger scoop, stronger handle, compact storage. He was so pleased he went out and bought a new car to go with it! Well, not really for that reason, but he did get a new car...

Comments about Hinja Folding Shovel:
Heavy, good quality. Great to keep in the car/truck during winter months. Can be used if camping or any other general uses where a small shovel would come in handy. Saw several others in retail shops but this one is heavy duty and more duable than those. A great value for the money.

Comments about Hinja Folding Shovel:
Living in the snowbelt of Northern Indiana this shovel has proven it's worth and stores nicely in the car trunk with the folding handle. I am purchasing 2 more for the other drivers in my household. Thanks Duluth.

Comments about Hinja Folding Shovel:
In a recent ski trip to Utah, where it snowed 3 of the 4 days we there, the Hinja shovel came in handy to dig out the back of my truck. Most of the gear needed to be carried in truck and we had to dig out the bed before we could load it up. I had no concerns for scratches and dings from the rugged plastic. My 3 year old grandson loves to follow grandpa around with "his" shovel to help me out. We scoop up leaves and sweepings from the garage as well as "dig" in the garden.
